an album of inbound figurines

Often when I buy a figurine that looks shiny on a site it looks pretty bad when its actually in my hands.... Not with this figurine. They really did it right. Straight from the movie is Asuka in her test plug suit.
It is a "finished" figurine. While some of the asuka figurines I've seen in the past may have looked rushed or somehow cheap. This one hits the mark. It has the right proportions, the right paint job. Pretty and it is shiny.
What is really amazing about this figurine is the ability to rotate the head.. (Normally they are stuck on there pretty solid. I've seen these moving heads on figurines from Good Smile Company (like the giant MOHS figurines i reviewed earlier)
Only gripe I have is a straight scratch on the stand running from the center of the drilled hole ,for the screw that goes in her foot, (hows that for a sentence you normally don't write) to about 7mm from the edge of the stand.
Is this figurine really worth the close to 70 euros I spent on it over on Archonia? YES
If you're a fan of Asuka, A fan of NGE, or even just into skintight shiny outfits... this is your thing to get.

I'm back with another figurine to review! This time its the Yoko Littner "Yoko Real Image" figurine by Max Factory. She sports some voluptuous curves and a whopper of a sniper rifle. Being used to the more "SD" form of the nendoroid figurine and the slightly silly form of the figma Fraulein Yoko figurine this one is a welcome change.
